Pawcatuck Church to Reopen
St. Michael Church on Liberty Street in Pawcatuck will hold a Mass of Dedication on Saturday, January 18, 2020. The dedication ceremony will begin outside the church. Ticket holders will process into the church. After the dedication, the church will remain open throughout the day until 8pm, providing everyone an opportunity to experience the new church on the first day. Confessions will be heard that afternoon at 3-3:45pm and the regular Mass on Saturday will be celebrated at 4pm. May God Bless St. Michael Church, it has been a long journey.   ...

In Memoriam: Sister Margaret Miriam Higgins
Sister Margaret Miriam Higgins of the Sisters of Mercy died peacefully at the age of 94 on January 11, 2020 at St. Mary Home in West Hartford. Born and raised in New London she was the daughter of Arthur Higgins and Anna Green Higgins. Sister entered the Sisters of Mercy on July 1, 1944 and professed her first religious vows on January 3, 1947. Most of Sister's teaching experiences were in the Norwich Diocese. Monthly Pro-Life Mass is February 1
The monthly Diocesan Pro-Life Mass will take place at the Cathedral of St. Patrick in Norwich on Saturday, February 1 at 8:30 A.M. Please join our celebrant Fr. Ray Introvigne at Mass as we pray to end abortion and for the healing for those who have had an abortion. Following the Mass, the Rosary will be prayed both at the Cathedral and Planned Parenthood.
