Women in Scripture: Voices of Faith and Influence

Join the virtual event which will explore the significant roles and stories of women in the Bible, highlighting their contributions and the lessons we can learn from their experiences.
Join Sr. Elissa Rinere and the Office of Faith Events for insightful discussions, an engaging presentation, and intriguing subjects.
Deepen your understanding of the pivotal roles of these special women in scripture and see how their stories relate to our contemporary situations.

Time: 1 PM - 4 PM
Location: St. John’s Church, Montville
Join us for an inspiring afternoon featuring Jim Flanagan, Coordinator of Youth Ministry at the Christ by the Sea Catholic Collaborative, along with musicians Sue and Phil Fortin from St. Aidan-St. Patrick in Cumberland, RI. With nearly 30 years in ministry, they’ll bring uplifting music and messages to our community. Cathedral of Saint Patrick Hall, 213 Broadway, Norwich, CT
The workshop will include time for personal reflection, prayer, and journaling and tips on how to navigate the upcoming holiday season.
There is no fee for the workshop. Registration deadline is December 2, 2024.

DONATIONS FOR WADSWORTH CHRISTMAS TREES The Office of Faith Events is seeking donations of new children’s books and new gloves or mittens for their Annual Wadsworth Christmas Trees.
