'Unplug' at Lenten Mission in Cromwell

LENTEN MISSION

All are invited to join professional performer VaILimar Jansen for a two-night Lenten Mission with the theme Unplug. Both evenings will be focused on our call, role and mission as followers of Christ. Ms. Jansen uses song, dramatization and reflection to engage the audience.

ValLimar tours internationally as an inspirational speaker, author, storyteller, psalmist and singer throughout the United States, Europe, Israel and the Far East.

Presentations will be held at St. John Church, 5 St. John’s Court, Cromwell, on Sunday, March 8 and Monday, March 9, from 7:00-8:30pm. Refreshments will follow as well as the opportunity to speak directly with ValLimar.

The faithful of the Diocese of Norwich are invited to join Bishop Reidy on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, for a day of prayer, pilgrimage and fellowship at St. Anne Shrine in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. The pilgrimage will take place on the Memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows and will offer participants a special opportunity for devotion to St. Anne and the Blessed Virgin Mary. On August 16th, the Sunday after the Solemnity of the Assumption, parishioners of Saint Joseph Church in Rockville were invited to bring flowers, herbs, and fruits to be blessed after the 10 am Mass as they gathered together for the annual St. Joseph’s Parish Picnic.
