The Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ

 

Where: St. Patrick Cathedral Hall
When: Wednesday March 16, 23, and 30
Time: 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Prepare your hearts to celebrate the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ at Easter by participating in this three-week Bible Study Lenten Program.

The program includes Scripture study, Lectio Divina (prayerful reading of Scripture), AND Adoration and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament at each session!

The program will be coordinated by Fr. Michael Bovino and facilitated by one of our parish catechists, Mona Anne Niedbala. The program is free and materials will be provided.

The Norwich Diocesan Council of Catholic Women invites all women of the diocese to join in a heartfelt tradition of compassion and service at the 47th Annual Layette Event. Hosted by the Saint Pio Parish Ladies Guild and Father Hussion Columbiettes, the event will take place on Sunday, May 18th from 1 PM to 3 PM at the Saint John School Gym, located at 161 Main Street in Old Saybrook. Easter Vigil Spreads the Light of Christ
The warm glow of candlelight washed over all gathered in the darkened Cathedral of Saint Patrick for the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday, April 19th. The Liturgy of Light (Lucernarium) commenced as Father Peter Langevin and ministers proceeded in silence and darkness to the rear of the Cathedral. There, Fr.
