IRISH NIGHT at St. Luke Church! 🍀

Join us at St. Luke Church in Ellington on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM for a festive evening of Irish tradition! Enjoy a delicious corned beef and cabbage dinner for just $25 per person—advance ticket sales only. The night will be filled with lively entertainment by Irish to the Last Drop. Lenten Mission: The Challenge of Holiness

Join us for an inspiring afternoon with Fr. Tom Hoar, President of St. Edmund’s Retreat on Enders Island, as he leads a Lenten Mission discussing "The Challenge of Holiness." This event will take place on Sunday, March 23 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Catholic Community of the Good Shepherd. Invitation to the Norwich Diocesan Council of Catholic Women Annual Layette

The Norwich Diocesan Council of Catholic Women will hold its Annual Layette on Sunday May 18th from 1 PM to 3 PM, at Saint John School gym. Parking and gym access are via 161 Main Street, Old Saybrook, CT.  All women of the Diocese are welcome to come and contribute to the Layette. Please bring baby items such as baby clothes from Newborn to Toddler 3, as well as blankets, diapers (especially larger sizes), baby wipes, formula, baby food, etc. Baby items are greatly needed by families in the Norwich Diocese.  The items will be donated to Catholic Charities of the Norwich Diocese to distribute. Representatives of Catholic Charities will be in attendance to gratefully accept our donations. Light refreshments will be served.

BRIDGES TO CONTEMPLATIVE LIVING WITH THOMAS MERTON

A six-week online workshop to deepen spiritual reflection and prayer during Lent and Holy Week, inspired by the teachings of Thomas Merton.
Details: Reflect on themes like forgiveness, seeking God, and embracing holiness through readings, discussions, and journaling.

A Mini Parish Mission given by the Sisters of Life will take place at the Cathedral. The Lenten Evening of Hope and Mercy is on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 6:30PM. Diocese to Host New England Basketball Tournament
The Diocese of Norwich has plans for an exciting sports opportunity for its youth coming in March 2025 when it hosts the New England Catholic Youth Organization (NECYO) Basketball Tournament in Middletown, CT.
