'Tis the Season for Giving!

Together, We Can Accomplish Great Things

The holiday season of Thanksgiving and Christmas is coming upon us quickly and can be stressful for so many people. As we try to fit in all the extra activities into an already busy schedule, some of us struggle to afford all the additional expenses of food and gifts on an already tight budget.

The Need

For some of our neighbors, those realities cannot be overcome on their own. They need extra help to put food on the table or have toys under the Christmas tree for their children.

How You Can Help

To help individuals and families during this time, Catholic Charities is asking you to consider making a donation of non-perishable food items for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner such as; boxed stuffing mix, instant mashed potatoes, gravy, canned vegetables, cranberries, macaroni & cheese, or a grocery gift card.

For children at Christmas, Catholic Charities is collecting new and unwrapped toys or gift cards for children of all ages.

You can also "Adopt a Family" for Christmas.  By adopting a family, you can provide not only for the children but also for the family as a whole.

Dropoff Locations

Donations can be dropped off at any of our four Catholic Charities locations.

  • Norwich: 331 Main St;
  • New London: 28 Huntington St;
  • Middletown: 151 Broad St;
  • Willimantic: 88 Jackson St.

Together, we can provide a stable, joyous holiday season for those who need our help and support. If we all work together, we can accomplish great things.

And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Hebrews 13:16

Thank You

Thank you for your thoughtful consideration in helping the least among us. Catholic Charities could not continue our mission of Providing Help & Creating Hope without your support. As we celebrate our 100 years of service to those in need, we wish you all a very blessed, happy, and healthy holiday season.
