Virtual Vacation Bible School Comes to the Diocese

Virtual Vacation Bible School

The Office of Faith Event’s Virtual Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a 4-day summer program providing fun and faith about the workings of God for children through music, games and fun Bible lessons.

This year the VBS program will be called “Thankful,” and will dive into the Old Testament by studying the prophet named Joseph. 

VBS will run Monday through Thursday, August 9 – 12th from 9:00 – 10:00 AM online; the cost is $5 for one child or $10 per family. 

We invite all children to join us, the camp is most suited for rising Grades 1 -5.

A Tradition of Giving: 47th Annual Layette Event to Support Mothers and Babies in Need
The Norwich Diocesan Council of Catholic Women invites all women of the diocese to join in a heartfelt tradition of compassion and service at the 47th Annual Layette Event. Hosted by the Saint Pio Parish Ladies Guild and Father Hussion Columbiettes, the event will take place on Sunday, May 18th from 1 PM to 3 PM at the Saint John School Gym, located at 161 Main Street in Old Saybrook.
