With late October snowflakes as big as golf balls, many prayer warriors came out in the cold to hear 40 Days For Life National Campaign Director Steve Karlen share his stories from campaigns across our country that had moms change their minds, do 180’s, and choose LIFE, while vigil participants were praying outside abortion facilities, even just the day before in Bridgeport.
Following Steve’s talk, our group prayed a Sorrowful Rosary together, praying for the end of taking innocent human life, and the closing of this Planned Parenthood facility here in our Sacred Diocese.
It’s been another meaningful Diocesan campaign this year. On behalf of myself and our 40 Days for Life Team, we wish to thank you very much for your peaceful witness and heartfelt prayers for the moms and their unborn children. Despite the pandemic, we experienced the greatest Parish participation in our history, covering 34 of the 40 days.
I was amazed and grateful to see many people come out more than once. Faithful example inspires us and others to join and continue in this most noble and worthy cause. May our prayers be answered, may the victory be won.
