Mercy High School Holds Virtual Graduation

In May, seniors at Mercy High School held unique commencement exercises for the graduating Class of 2020. 

It featured a drive-through ceremony and family photo opportunities, as well as pre-recorded speeches from the valedictorians and salutatorian. Everything was later combined into a video for the graduates and families to share. 


Mercy grads Liz Malaquias Malczon ‘90 with her two daughters next to her; Caitlin graduated in 2018 and Abby (Abigail) 2020. The women, along with husband and father Gregory, live in Cromwell.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mia Lawrence, daughter of Jason and Heidi Lawrence,  seen in front of the We Love Our Seniors Sign, resides in East Haddam.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Christina Beaulieu, with arms outstretched holding her diploma, is the daughter of Annmarie and John Beaulieu from Portland.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On stage are co-valedictorians Holly Lewis and Gabrielle Grant, Sister Mary McCarthy, RSM, President of Mercy, and Salutatorian Emma Kief.
