Witnessing Hope — My First March For Life
I signed up to attend the 2025 March for Life in Washington, D.C. Little did I know how great an impact the event would have on me. I had long intended to attend the March for Life but life's demands somehow seemed to get in the way. Thankfully I was able to participate this year. Father Brian Maxwell and I joined the Respect Life Ministry of the Archdiocese of Hartford. We bused down to D.C., enjoying camaraderie, prayer, and a movie. 2025 Respect Life Masses and Marches Underway
For those who recognize the value of all life, the early months of the year offer many opportunities to publicly declare the sanctity and dignity of every human person. Sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, the Mass provided time for prayer and the chance to donate baby items for the Connecticut Pregnancy Resource Centers. Mary, Gate of Heaven Parish hosted a Mass for Life on Jan. 20 at St. Rober...

"A childhood denied is a silent scream condemning the wrongness of the economic sy...

As we approach Lent, please allow me to speak to all who carry the unbearable sadness and guilt of an abortion experience. Be assured that Jesus keeps on loving you, no matter what. The blessed ashes distributed on our foreheads on Ash Wednesday remind us that we are all sinners; broken, imperfect, yet very precious in the eyes of God and so well loved by Him. The ashes are both a reminder of our need for repentance and the graces that flow from our Lord’s death and resurrection. Some stay away from the Church because they fear judgment of past sins. Yet as Pope Franc...
