Catholic Charities Honors Tony Joyce at Appreciation Dinner

On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, Catholic Charities hosted a heartfelt Appreciation Dinner at the Holiday Inn in Norwich to celebrate the dedication and service of Tony Joyce, a longstanding member of the Board of Directors. The evening was a tribute to Tony's invaluable contributions, particularly in his role as chairman of the Finance Committee, where he has played a crucial part in planning agency programs and ensuring the financial stability of the organization.

Tony’s commitment to Catholic Charities and the greater community is truly remarkable. Over the years, he has devoted countless hours to serving not only Catholic Charities but also various other non-profit organizations in Southeastern Connecticut. His tireless efforts have made a significant impact, helping to sustain programs that support those in need.

A respected member of both the Catholic Charities Board and the business community, Tony has long been a pillar of service and leadership. His dedication to the mission of Catholic Charities, combined with his financial expertise, has ensured the continued well-being of the agency and its outreach programs.

The event, which ran from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, was a wonderful opportunity for friends, colleagues, and community members to express their gratitude to Tony for his years of service and commitment. Catholic Charities is fortunate to have such a dedicated leader, and the appreciation dinner served as a well-deserved recognition of Tony's enduring contributions.
