The Make a Memory Christmas Stocking Project - Donations Wanted

The Office of Faith Events is sponsoring... The Make a Memory Christmas Stocking Project

We invite every family to make a Christmas Stocking that will be delivered to a soup kitchen/shelter in the Norwich Diocese for children who would not otherwise receive a stocking.

Include items like candy, socks, books, games, puzzles, and small toys. A homemade Christmas card from your family to theirs would be a nice touch!

Some safety details...*make sure all candy is packaged- big or small- no loose candy please, *no candy with nuts or peanut butter for allergy reasons.*

Please put all goodies in NEW individual stockings and drop it off at a designated place in your parish or at the Bishop Flanagan Ministry Center, 199 Broadway, Norwich, CT.

Please have all completed stockings delivered by December 6th so we can get them to the soup kitchen/shelter, and they will be
given to the children in time for Christmas.

Any questions or concerns contact Andrea at OFE , 860-848-2237, ext.203

This tradition endures as a profound symbol of faith, humility, and the boundless love of God. To celebrate the Advent season, we are, once again, creating a photo gallery of Christmas crèches fr...
