St. Pius X in Middletown, CT is in the process of looking for a Coordinator of Religious Education who will supervise the pre-K through 5th grade including the First Reconciliation and First Communion programs.

Requirements

• Candidates should have previous experience in religious education.
• Academic degree or related certification is also beneficial.
• Computer literacy is required with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Publisher.

Responsibilities will include

• Registration
• Organizing class lists and schedules
• Helping with catechist formation,
• Preparing for Reconciliation and First Communion as well as the administrative duties for these grade levels.

Up to 40 hours per week, 46 weeks a year. Benefits and Pension are according to diocesan policy. The candidate will need to complete a background check and training required by the Diocesan Office of Safe Environments.
