St. Patrick Cathedral School is searching for an enthusiastic Grade 7 Teacher dedicated to creating an atmosphere that encourages a love of learning while following the Mission of Catholic Education and the Curriculum of the Norwich Diocese.

He or she would be teaching both Science and Religion to the junior high students (Grades 6,7,& 8)

Role and Responsibilities

• An active Catholic, knowledgeable of his/her faith.
• Adept at determining students’ strengths and weaknesses and building lessons accordingly
• Will actively and creatively foster a love of learning.
• Excellent Classroom Management Skills
• Works well with faculty, and staff as a team player.
• Possesses excellent communication skills.
• Creates a safe, productive classroom environment
• Utilizes technology as appropriate to the Grade 7 classroom.

Bachelor’s Degree and Teaching Certification required.

Some experience and a Master’s degree are preferred but not required.
