Sacred Heart School in Groton, CT is seeking applicants for a full-time Second Grade Teacher.

We are looking for a compassionate teacher who will instill the love of learning into the students while following the Diocese of Norwich Curriculum.

• Practicing Catholic, knowledgeable in the Sacraments
• Strong Communication Skills
• Participates in IEP (individual education plan) meetings as scheduled by the school
• Implements NWEA Map testing 3 times a year
• Confer with other Specialists in regards to OT, PT, Speech and Special Education
• Excellent Classroom Management Skills
• Create a safe, productive classroom environment
• Well versed in the Catholic Faith
• Bachelor’s Degree/Masters
• CT Certification
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience
