St. Patrick Cathedral School in Norwich is seeking applicants for a PK-Grade 8 Technology Teacher and Coordinator.

The ideal candidate will:

• Develop lesson plans which meet established school and curriculum guidelines.
• Adapts and reassesses lesson plans to meet specific student needs, comply with newly implemented guidelines or rules, and to update individual lesson plans as needed in conjunction with Special Services.
• Manage the diverse ability levels of students.
• Provide a safe, positive learning environment for students.
• Communicates with all staff members and parents on a regular basis.
• Maintains order and discipline among students while promoting safety and compliance with school rules and guidelines.
• Attends and takes part in school meetings.

The ideal candidate qualifications:

• Typing
• Coding
• Google Suite (Drive, Gmail (3-8), Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawings)
• Digital Citizenship
• Citations/Avoiding Plagiarism
• Internet Research
• Maintaining The School Network
• Problem Solving Computer Issues
• Ensuring that equipment is in working order (Computers, Chromebooks, Printers, Projectors, Smart TV’s, Headphones, Copiers on each floor)
• Monitoring student usage of tools and internet (Google Vault, Securely)
• Teaching teachers to use Securely
• Inputting information in the student information system Rediker (Plus Portals, Grade Books, Pulling grades for Report Cards, Updating parent/student information)
• Updating Social Media posts
