Xavier High School is seeking applicants for a full-time Music teaching position. Xavier’s Music offerings include Jazz Band, Concert Band, Chorus, and Strings. The ideal candidate will:

• demonstrate a passion for working with adolescent boys in a Catholic, college-prep setting;
• support and uphold the mission of a Catholic and Xaverian educational community;
• possess at least a bachelor’s degree (a master’s degree is preferred) in Music Education or Music Performance;
• have experience teaching in a high school setting;
• have superior interpersonal skills;
• be open to incorporating technology into the learning environment;
• be open to taking a role in the community outside of the classroom in extracurricular and community events.
