Xavier High School is seeking applicants for a full time position teaching both Spanish and Visual Arts or for separate part time positions teaching just Spanish and just Visual Arts.

For the Visual Arts position, the ideal candidate will:

• demonstrate a passion for working with adolescent boys in a Catholic, college-prep setting;
• support and uphold the mission of a Catholic and Xaverian educational community;
• possess at least a bachelor’s degree (a master’s degree is preferred) in the Visual Arts;
• have experience teaching in a high school setting;
• be able to teach AP Drawing and AP Art and Design (Art History is also a plus);
• have superior interpersonal skills;
• be open to incorporating technology into a BYOD learning environment;
• be open to taking a role in the community outside of the classroom.

For the Spanish position, the ideal candidate will:

• demonstrate a passion for working with adolescent boys in a Catholic, college-prep setting;

• have a strong knowledge of Spanish culture;
• have superior interpersonal skills;

• be open to taking a role in the community outside of the classroom.
