ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be a practicing Catholic
• Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment in accordance with the school's guidelines that fosters the spiritual, intellectual, social-emotional, and physical development of the students
• Be able to integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans
• Maintain good classroom discipline
• Stay current on updated information with early childhood education
• Be proficient in technology for classroom teaching, communication, and everyday situations
• Be a team player with other lower-grade teachers
• Be able to provide students with additional resources when needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• B. A.. or B.S. degree, certification, or in process

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
