Saint John School is looking for a pre-kindergarten teacher who shows evidence of the Catholic philosophy of education and promotes Gospel values and Catholic moral teachings. The candidate should demonstrate knowledge and understanding of effective teaching techniques and child development. and provide daily instruction and selects learning activities appropriate to the student’s needs. He or she should also be able to establish learning outcomes or educational objectives based on Diocesan Early Childhood Standards. The candidate will develop appropriate lesson plans and evaluates them daily, acts as a positive role model, is adaptable and flexible in routine and unexpected situations, and uses good judgment in daily encounters as well as be a team player.
